Why is nylon tempting?
I have been trying to convince my poor abused credit card that it can stand up to one more little yarn purchase. Basically, I needed white laceweight for test knitting Alberich and white sock yarn for a pair of tigery socks I've been wanting to knit (okay, so I don't have tiger yarn yet, but that doesn't mean I can't start the toes). I ended up at World of Wool

Very reasonable, excellent postage costs. I was pleased :D

Then I found other stuff. First and foremost, the Super Bright Trilobal Nylon Top Dyed Rainbow (100g). That is the actual title. And you'll need to scroll down to see it. Doesn't it scream Weasley Twins? I want it, but I am still having little success even spinning your everyday corriedale. Darn. Need more practice, I think. I was also tempted by a pictureless wool/silk blend called Oceana. Don't know what that is (I'm guessing variagated blue) but it sounds lovely. Again though, I can't spin that well or that fast, and I still have a braid of white corriedale and a braid of octarine mystery fibre waiting to be spun up.

So this is the plan:
1) I wait until closer to Christmas to buy, when my credit card has recovered and I am no longer feeling guilt at the bill.
2) I buy both the nylon and, hopefully, the wool/silk as well as what I was originally going to buy.
3) I rejoice in the fibrey goodness.
4) In the meantime, I test knit using that horrible cotton I bought on a dare.

All sorted. I can go to sleep now :D

Driving test in two days. Meh.
